Another Ringbill and The Maria N

It was another day with not much time for photography. I did manage another ringbill portrait and was able to catch the Maria N coming down the channel...she's had her riggers removed which usually means a conversion to another type of fishing is in her future...maybe long line or trap fishing.

Love the waves coming in on the Ring bill photo, great capture. You are going to have me watching the gulls a bit closer now! The Maria N. looks a bit naked if you ask me...It's so sad what is happening to the shrimp industry here...I love shrimp but every time I eat it now I feel a bit guilty and wonder where it's coming from...We need to support the U.S.A. but I sometimes wonder how...I remember Walmart when they first opened their doors...their sales pitch was made in the U.S.A....now good luck trying to find something in there made in the U.S.A....I searched the toy section one day...At that time I did NOT find one thing made in the U.S.A...and most (99%) was made in China...It makes me sick!! Okay enough rambling...and yes you go right ahead and call me Grandma...I don't mind one bit...at least I can spoil the new little one rotten and then SEND him home!! LOL....

The ring bill in the water is relaxing like the laid back feeling of the picture. At least Maria N is still a working boat and not scrape metal pile. Hope to see more good pictures in the days ahead--:)
