Remember Goliad

Today was another work day but by 3:00 o'clock, I had had enough. I ventured forth in the mood to shoot some abandoned barns or other farm buildings. I kept driving and wound up in Goliad. I finally gave up on the derelict architecture but I did find a few sights in this small, historically significant Texas town.

You knew you were going to get chewed out!! You were 20 minutes from me, Goober!! I love your photos of La Bahia, fantastic!! The lighting is perfect!! I caught the gorgeous sunset too but I didn't have the mission in it, boohoo!! I've never thought about Fannins Memorial at night...I was actually waiting for things to green up a bit and then going over there for a photo shoot...but I think you had a better idea...in the evening!! So glad you got out and about, your photos are awesome...How long did it take you to get to Goliad?

Is that the moon in the third shot? I looked last night but had to come take a longer look on a better monitor than that old laptop...as always, wish I had been there too...but maybe someday it can be a day trip for the muskateers!
