R Is For...

R is for REBECCA

R is for RUSTY ROOF

R is for RAIL...these old tracks and I are just alike...we used to serve a purpose and people depended on us...now, we're just rusting away in Aransas Pass, TX...not going anywhere!

Yeah they say as we get older the years are golden but I'm finding out they are rusty. Love the picture of the old railroad tracks. Reminds me of the 50's when my girlfriend lived out in the country and I lived in town. Many time we walked the tracks to her house but it was safe then.

These are all three really great photos, but I really like the one of the old railroad tracks. Good stuff! I also noticed the two birds in the sky just to the left of the turbine vents on the rusty roof. That must be quite some camera that you were using! I don't think my 5 year old Cannon point & shoot would have picked them up.

You are definitely NOT rusting away and I depend on you for great photos to cheer up my otherwise drab dreary summer days!! Great job on 'R', love the old building with the rusty roof, good eye! ~Wen

Glad you shot Rebecca at the angle you did, U know I'm a sucker for the wide angle look and how I feel about those darned railroad tracks...can't get enuff! I feel the same way when I look down the deserted rails, but aren't you glad they are there to shoot now?
